polyphonic ringtone
Polyphonic ringtone is a type of ringtone which could play more than 40 notes at a time. After monophonic ringtone, it was polyphonic ringtone which was prefered by the customers generally. It could offer the complex sounds like mimicking when compared to the monophonic ringtone as it allows harmony instead of the single line of music. If a person's mobile phone could play polyphonic ringtone, then that mobile phone would be eligible for playing more ringtones which they prefer of their own. This type of ringtone would be the better choice for customising the mobile phone. When compared to the latest technology ringtones like mp3 and video ringtones, polyphonic ringtones are much cheaper which could have more choices as well. As we all know that polyphonic ringtone could be used to categorise the group of people calling like family, friends, colleagues and so on. As we have more polyphonic ringtone options available to play, it would be easy and comfortable for us to identify the person if we receive a incoming call. The standard for polyphonic ringtone is known as MIDI file format. If we want to transfer the polyphonic ringtone to another mobile phone, the simplest way is to by the MIDI by WAP system.
